The 1988 classic movie Big starring Tom Hanks will be making its way on the small screen.
20th Century Fox has put the remake into development for a TV comedy series. The project will be helmed by Kevin Biegel and Mike Royce, who most recently worked together on the beloved-but-cancelled Enlisted.
The Hollywood Reporter states that Biegel and Royce will write and executive produce the half-hour comedy series with Fox Television producing. Fox envisions the Big TV show as an ongoing series with a limited episode count— which will mean fewer episodes than a traditional 22 episode season.
Much like the movie, Big TV show will consider “what it means to be an adult, what it means to be a kid, and how in today’s world those two things are more confused than ever.”
