Disney has revealed what its post-acquisition landscape will look like. 21st Century Fox president Peter Rice and Fox TV Group chairman Dana Walden are both moving over to Disney in new roles. John Landgraf will serve as Chairman of FX Networks and Productions and his division will receive additional financial resources. Gary E. Knell to serve as chairman of National Geographic Partners.

As Marvel usually does a different roster between the film MCU and the TV MCU. Exceptions obviously include Clark Gregg and Hayley Atwell. Now Marvel wants to get into the limited series game. Eyeing Tom Hiddleston to be in his very own Loki series. Plus Elizabeth Olsen to have her very own Scarlet Witch series. This could be a fantastic way to introduce new characters into the MCU fold and also add some layers to already established characters. The Loki series may be a prequel series because of Infinity War. Yet Olsen's series could potentially be a sequel to her work in the MCU. Post-Avengers 4 it could be a while before Scarlet Witch is back on the big screen.

Marvel is looking to expand the MCU into television more. — ABC has given a production commitment to a show featuring female Marvel superheroes. Allan Heinberg, who wrote Wonder Woman, will be writing the series. Details surrounding the project are under wraps. All we know so far is that it will be an hour-long drama focusing on the lesser-known female superheroes of the Marvel universe.

Disney and Marvel are currently trying to regroup on the project. — The small group of workers during pre-production have been dismissed, and can start looking for other work in the time being. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 was going to be directed by James Gunn before his abrupt firing. Full pre-production mode was expected to happen in the fall. It also looks like Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn is staying strong on not letting Gunn back.

Marvel Will Use James Gunn's Script for 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3', May Even Return to Direct

James Gunn situation is well known to anyone that has the internet. So I'm not going to waste our time by reliving that exhausting situation. — Gunn was fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 last month. Yet film studios are already offering him big projects. Earlier this week Variety ran a story stating Disney will not re-hire James Gunn or will they use his script. Well it looks like that might be changing. The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Disney will use his script and there is a possibility he may be re-hired even if it isn't for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3? Say what... if you're going to re-hire him at least give him back his franchise. This is where the report gets really interesting.
