AMC Cinemas Will Showcase All 8 Best Picture Nominees in 24-Hour Marathon Screening

JamesArthurArmstrong JamesArthurArmstrong The 87th Academy Awards are a month away and if you haven't seen all of the eight nominated Best Picture movies, AMC Cinemas have you covered.

The theatre chain has revealed plans for its annual Best Picture Showcase, a marathon screening event of all the Best Picture nominees. You have a choice of what route you would like to take through this marathon screening event. You can watch all eight movies over the course of two Saturdays watching four one week and the other four the following week. Or, you can watch all eight movies back-to-back in an 20 hour sit. Tickets for a single day costs $35 each, or you can save $5 by buying a two day pass ticket costing you $65.

On Saturday 14th February you'll be able to watch The Grand Budapest Hotel, Whiplash, Birdman, and Selma. On the following Saturday, the 21st February, you'll be able to watch Boyhood, The Theory of Everything, The Imitation Game, and American Sniper. The eight-film marathon option takes place on Saturday 21st February. It kicks off with Boyhood at 10am, and ends around 5:30am after The Grand Budapest Hotel.
