In a less than an eight hour period, "Bond 25" went from no director, to a shortlist of three, and now one clear frontrunner. — A Deadline report surfaced this afternoon confirming the three directors in the running to direct "Bond 25" are David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water), Yann Demange (’71), and Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner: 2049). According to Deadline sources, all three directors met with EON pictures and while Villeneuve and Mackenzie are still being considered, a new source out of Variety reports Yann Demange is now the frontrunner to take over the twenty-fifth Bond installment.
