DC Comics Comedy Series 'Powerless' Loses its Showrunner
Ben Queen, who wrote the pilot for the upcoming DC comics-based sitcom Powerless and was lined up as co-showrunner, has exited the NBC series.
Creative differences caused Queen to depart as part of a mutual decision between Warner Bros. Television and NBC.
While production was intended to start on the show this week, it will be delayed as the network searches for a new executive producer. It is not expected that the delay will impact its premiere date.
The series debuts in January, 2017 on NBC.
