FX Boss Talks 'American Horror Story' Season 6 Plot Teasers, Don't Expect Answers
American Horror Story's sixth season is one big mystery, with Ryan Murphy's next story in the anthology series sporting one big question mark and no answers just yet, with the premiere only just over a month away.
FX CEO John Landgraf confirmed at TCA that the intention is to add confusion, instead of clearing fans up, on what those short teaser trailers meant last week.
“Ryan decided it would be really fun to keep it a surprise, so we are not doing the reveal” Landgraf said. “(The Marketing team) went out and made trailers for hypothetical seasons of American Horror Story. One of them is accurate and the others are all misdirects.”
Season 6 debuts September 14, and it's likely we'll have to wait until then. It's at least refreshing that we're going in blind to a new series/film. It's not too common in the industry today.
