'Game of Thrones' Begins Production on Season 7
Production begun quietly on Monday for the second-to-final season of Game of Thrones, launching in Northern Ireland.
season 7 will film primarily in England before spanning out to Spain and Iceland, among others. With just seven episodes for the new season, down from ten, directors have already been lined up and the series is set to arrive summer of 2017.
Not much is known about the upcoming season following the mayhem of late-last season. Recently, Jim Broadbent joined the cast in a significant role.
