IMAX and Warner Bros. Extend Deal to Include 12 New Releases Over the Coming Years

HaydnSpurrell HaydnSpurrell IMAX Corporations and Warner Bros. Pictures have announced a multi-picture agreement that will include up to 12 new films from the studio's current slate as the companies' expand their partnership.

IMAX will release a number of blockbuster pictures such as Kong: Skull Island, Blade Runner 2049, Tomb Raider, The LEGO Batman Movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2, as well as the ongoing DCEU slate.

Unsurprisingly, the deal also includes Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk. Nolan has been a big user of IMAX cameras over the years, and to great effect on his Dark Knight trilogy as well as on Interstellar.
