Is Tron 3 Getting Ready to Shoot in Vancouver This October?
Tron 3 sounds like it's happening with production seemingly getting ready to kick into gear this Autumn in Vancouver after a very quiet development period from Disney.
The report comes straight out of Vancouver where it states that filming will begin in October with Garrett Hedlund set to reprise his role from Tron: Legacy. It also looks as though Joseph Kosinski is returning to direct. This isn’t confirmed by Disney, but musician Giorgio Moroder said a few weeks back that he would be doing work with Skrillex on music for a new Tron video game. He said, "I’m going to meet Skrillex next week when I’m back. I’m doing the music for a game for Disney’s ‘Tron’. We have about five themes, electronic stuff and let’s see if he’s interested in remixing or re-working one of the songs."
Althouh Disney haven't made an official announcement, all things point to a third Tron movie being in the works.
