'Jalen' Gets ABC Pilot Order
ABC wrapped up its comedy pilot pickups late Friday. Amongst the picks was a single camera comedy starring ESPN personality and former NBA player Jalen Rose.
The series comes from Nahnatchka Khan, creator/executive producer of ABC's family comedy Fresh Off the Boat, and the series executive producer Jake Kasdan.
The series is written by Khan. The comedy follows Jalen juggling his career responsibilities while being a single dad.
Jalen Rose hosts two national primetime shows, NBA Countdown and Jalen and Jacoby on SiriusXM.
This should be interesting to see how Jalen stacks up against ABC's loaded comedy slate.
