Jordan Peele's 'The Twilight Zone' Reboot Renewed for a Season Two at CBS All Access

ZachPerilstein ZachPerilstein Disney Reporter Jordan Peele will continue to tell more tales from the Twilight Zone.

CBS All Access has picked up the revival for a second season. The renewal coming only five episodes in. The anthology series episodes come every Thursday.

Like other streaming services. CBS All Access didn't release any statistics on how many people are watching the new Twilight Zone. We do know it had the most viewers for a premiere day on CBS All Access.

"Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg's reimagining of The Twilight Zone is off to an amazing start on CBS All Access, driving the most viewers on its premiere day for an original series to date," said Julie McNamara, executive vp original content for the streaming service. "Jordan, Simon, the creative team and cast have done a phenomenal job translating the series’ legacy of socially conscious storytelling for modern-day audiences. They are master storytellers, and we look forward to bringing fans further into The Twilight Zone with a second season."

Similar to Rod Serling before him. Jordan Peele appears as the on-screen narrator for the new The Twilight Zone.

The reboot is stacked with Adam Scott, Sanaa Lathan, Steven Yeun, Kumail Nanjiani, Greg Kinnear, Allison Tolman, John Cho and Tracy Morgan all making appearances. The coming episodes will feature Ginnifer Goodwin, Zazie Beetz, Taissa Farmiga, Chris O'Dowd, Seth Rogen, Rhea Seehorn, Jessica Williams and DeWanda Wise, and more.

The Twilight Zone bolsters CBS All Access current original streaming lineup alongside The Good Fight, Star Trek: Discovery, and Short Treks. The streamer is also developing an animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks, a Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard Star Trek series, and Stephen King's The Stand.
