Julianne Nicholson Joins Margot Robbie in 'I, Tonya'
Julianne Nicholson has joined Margot Robbit in the comedy biopic about the disgrace figure skater Tonya Harding titled I, Tonya. Filming launches in Atlanta, and Nicholson joins a cast including Sebastian Stan, Allison Janney, paul Walter hauser.
Nicholson will play Harding's first skating coach, Diane Rawlinson. Miramax bought the U.S. rights to the film last month. The film revolves around Harding's attack on rival skater Nancy Kerrigan, in an attempt to break her leg ahead of the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. As a result, she was stripped of her 1994 title and received a lifetime ban from figure skating.
