Lady Gaga's Season 6 Character in 'American Horror Story' Has a Deep Connection to 'Coven'
Lady Gaga's character in the latest season of American Horror Story has been mysterious to say the least. The character lurks through the woods and has some deep, magical connection to the land.
Or maybe it has nothing to do with the land. It's hard to say. What creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed for us is that the character has a firm connection to the show's third season, Coven.
As it turns out, the witch of the woods is the original Supreme. Fans will recall that the Supreme was a central, topical question in the messy third season, and is the title given to the witch with the most power. This character becomes the leader of whichever coven (or, all of them?) It got pretty confusing.
“I knew that this character was important to the mythology of the show, and I really wanted her to play that character,” but while there won't be a return to Coven in season 7, "we’re definitely going to do it,”
