Undefeated (2011)

'Maze Runner' Producers Acquires Rights to Remake 'Undefeated'.


Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill Entertainment have acquired the rights to do a movie based on the Oscar-Winning documentary ‘Undefeated’ (2011).

The documentary, which was directed by Daniel Lindsay and T.J. Martin, followed several players from an inner city Memphis high school football team, the Manassas Tigers on and off the field. The Tigers had a long history defeats until the head coach turned them around into a team with a chance to win a playoff game.

No news yet about who will write and direct this movie. Bowen and Godfrey are currently producing Maze Runner: The Death Cure and working on a TV series based on Stephen King’s book Mr. Mercedes.
