Miles Teller Won't Confirm Return for the 'Divergent Series' TV Movie
Premiering his latest film, War Dogs, Miles Teller appeared surprised by the fact that the Divergent series will conclude with a TV release rather than a theatrical one, confirming that he barely got informed before Variety got hold of the news.
“I’ve talked to nobody,” Teller said. “I found out 20 minutes before Variety printed it.” This is not unlike Shailene Woodley's comments, who said that she was unsure of her involvement and had been unprepared for the news.
"When we all signed on for the first one we had every intention of finishing it theatrically,” he said. “We signed on for x amount of movies and you take that all into consideration. We wanted to see that storyline finish. You know, it’s moving into a different format. So who knows?”
