NBC's newcomer about the mysterious Flight 828 has been picked up for a full season. The network has extended the show for three more episodes bringing the season one total to 16 episodes.
Manifest is the top-rated drama of the fall so far. The Warner Bros./Universal TV drama is averaging 1.8 rating among adults 18-49. 8.4 million viewers for the same day rating. Delayed viewing, the premiere grew to 4.2 in the adult demo, And to 18.4 million viewers overall.
The series centers on the passengers and crew of Montego Air Flight 828, who suddenly reappear after being presumed dead for over five years. Jeff Rake created the show and executive produces with Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, and Jackie Levine.
Manifest stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, J.R. Ramirez, Jack Messina, Luna Blaise, Athena Karkanis, and Parveen Kaur.
It's also good to point out that TV shows aren't making the traditional season of 22-24 episodes anymore. Just look at NBC standout This Is Us for example (18 episodes).
Manifest becomes the fourth show of the fall season to get a full-season order. Joining fellow NBC show New Amsterdam, CBS' FBI, and ABC's Single Parents.
