'Neil Gaiman: Dream Dangerously' Documentary to Launch on Vimeo from July 8

HaydnSpurrell HaydnSpurrell "What do you want to be remembered as, when all is said and done? I want to be remembered as someone who told good stories." It's a simple dream, and it's without a doubt that Neil Gaiman has achieved that goal.

Vimeo will exclusively premiere the documentary 'Neil Gaiman: Dream Dangerously' from July 8. The film will detail Gaiman's childhood in Portsmouth U.K. up through his initial success on Vertigo comic book series The Sandman right until recent Newbery and Carnegie medal winning works on Coraline and The Graveyard Book.

The documentary is told through his own words on top of various interviews with close friends and collaborators such as Terry Pratchet, Bill Hader, Michael Sheen, Lenny Henry, Will Wheaton, Stoya, JH Williams III, Lev Grossman, and more, as well as chats with George R.R. Martin, Grant Morrison, and various others.

It's created by Respect Films' director/producer and editor Patrick Meaney and producer/DP Jordan Rennert. Other films from Respect Films include 'She Makes Comics' and the fascinating 'The Image Revolution.'
