Olympus Has Fallen sequel set for October 2015
Focus Features has acquired U.S. distribution rights to London Has Fallen, sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, and set an October 2nd 2015 release date.
The story will take place in London with an attack on the city during the funeral of the British prime minister, who has died under mysterious circumstances. Gerard Butler will reprise his role as a U.S. Secret Service agent.
The script for the sequel is written by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt and Christian Gudegast. The film is being produced by Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel, Mark Gill, and Matt O’Toole.
