Paramount Confirms Chris Hemsworth Will Return in Star Trek 4.

NadiaA71 Star Trek Beyond is yet to be released but, perhaps thanks to its favorable early reviews, Paramount is warping ahead with plans for the next Star Trek installment. J.J. Abrams had mentioned previously that they are bringing back Chris Hemsworth and now the studio have officially confirmed it.

Hemsworth's character, George Kirk appeared briefly -though memorably - in the 2009 Star Trek reboot which is now known as the Kelvin timeline. At this point is far too early to speculate how or in what sense will George Kirk cross paths with his son, James Kirk (Chris Pine).

For this next Star Trek film, J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay will write the script. The two were the first writers on Beyond when Robert Orci was going to direct. J.J. Abrams and Lindsey Weber will produce this next Star trek movie via Bad Robot Productions.
