Rachel McAdams Confirms 'Doctor Strange' Rumours
Earlier this month, reports emerged that Rachel McAdams had been offered a role in Marvel's upcoming movie Doctor Strange, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
McAdams, who is currently star of HBO's True Detective and Southpaw, has now spoken out regarding her recent link with the movie. The actress was asked by Den of Geek regarding the possibility of taking the role, which she replied, "I don’t have much to say about it right now. There’s not really anything to comment on. But, if there is, I’ll let you know." Then, an interview emerged with the Los Angeles Times, were once again, the actress was asked about the role. This time she went out of her way to say that she’s not a "comic-book snob" after passing on the chance to star in Iron Man back in 2008 as Pepper Potts. She went on to say with regards to joining the Marvel movie, "It’s still super-early days, and I don’t know where that’s gonna go, if it’s gonna go anywhere at all."
