'Rogue One' Pre-Sale Tickets Beat Out 'Deadpool,' 'Suicide Squad,' and 'Doctor Strange'
In just 24 hours of pre-sale ticket availability, Rogue One has topped any other film in 2016 in that category, on both MovieTickets.com and Fandango. Hundreds of thousands of tickets were reportedly sold int he first few minutes.
It passes 2016's box office hits Suicide Squad, Deadpool, Doctor Strange and Finding Dory. IMAX has also seen its second-highest day of pre-sale tickets ever, second only to The Force Awakens.
It's currently tracking as the second biggest December opening ever, again, behind The Force Awakens.
