Runtime and Synopsis Revealed for 'Godzilla: Resurgence'
Japan's most famous monster is headed back to theaters with the new film Godzilla: Resurgence, and new details have emerged for the film.
The film will run for 118 minutes, while a new clip reveals a short synopsis translated into English that reads as follows:
“A cause unknown, an accident has occurred in the tunnels of the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, causing an emergency cabinet meeting to convene. Immediately afterwards, a huge creature appears, destroying town after town with its landing reaching the capital. The mysterious giant organism named “Godzilla.”
The film was announced back in 2014, following the successful American reboot from Legendary Pictures, who quickly put into development a mash-up between Godzilla and King Kong, with establishing films to come prior to that 2020 release.
