Sam Raimi in Talks for Skydance Burmuda Triangle Mystery Thriller
Sam Raimi is in talks to develop and maybe also direct an untitled mystery thriller focusing around the infamous Bermuda Triangle for Skydance. Both Universal and Warner Bros. are also developing films based around the strange phenomenon.
The film will be set in the mysterious expanse of land in the Caribbean where planes and ships have gone missing over the years, but other than that details are scarce. Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard wrote the most recent draft and while there is no studio attached to the project, Skydance have been developing it since 2013.
Raimi is famed for his Spider-Man trilogy, though he's also helmed the first Evil Dead film as well as, most recently, Oz the Great and Powerful.
