'Saturday Night Live' Head Writers Depart
Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider have stepped down as co-head writers of Saturday Night Live. After helping the show reach its most successful season in 20 years.
Kelly and Schneider will still be working with Lorne Michaels. Writing a Comedy Central pilot for his production arm Broadway Video. The new head writers are Bryan Tucker and Keith Sublette.
Last season SNL[/i] earned 22 Emmy nominations and brought home nine wins. Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider have been with [i]SNL since 2011.
In addition to this recent writing shake up at 30 Rock. Saturday Night Live added new writers to the writing room including Sam Jay, Gary Richardson, Erik Marino, Andrew Dismukes, Steven Castillo, Claire Friedman, and Nimesh Patel.
Saturday Night Live airs live this Saturday across all coasts with host Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot and musical guest Sam Smith.
