Sigourney Weaver is the Villain in Marvel's Upcoming 'The Defenders' Miniseries
Marvel's Iron Fist hit New York Comic-Con with appearances by all four of the Defenders; Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. But Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb gave fans even more, revealing that Sigourney Weaver would be the antagonist in the series.
The Alien franchise icon will play an unknown role at this point, and the series has yet to launch production. No release date is known just yet.
The panel marked the first time all four Defenders appeared publicly together, and fans were ecstatic even before Weaver was brought out on stage. Iron Fist is the next to premiere, March 17 on Netflix.
