Updates on Upcoming Release Dates for Independence Day, Hitman and Seth Rogen's Christmas Comedy

JamesArthurArmstrong JamesArthurArmstrong A huge change-up of new release dates has been announced, as studios including Paramount, Fox and The Weinstein Company have shuffled around their dates for the end of this year and 2015. Below is a run down of the latest changes to numerous upcoming movies;

• Paramount has pushed Hot Tub Time Machine 2 from a Christmas release this year to a 29th February release in 2015.

• Paramount has also pushed Scouts vs. Zombies from 20th February all the way back to 30th October 2015.

• Fox has pushed Hitman: Agent 47 from a February 2015 opening to a 28th August 2015 release. The video game adaptation, starring Rupert Friend and Zachary Quinto will compete against Regression, which stars Ethan Hawke and Emma Watson.

• FInally, the Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Christmas movie directed by their 50/50 director Jonathan Levine, has been brought up two weeks early. Originally set for a 11th December 2014 release, it will now open on the 25th November of this year.
