Ben Kingsley on Georges Melies and his short films in Hugo

Ben Kingsley interviewed about his character Georges Melies in Hugo, by Martin Scorsese. He explains who his character is and what he's about. "Georges made hundreds of small, magic, narrative films that told a little story. They were the first great short films if you like." Ben also talks about how Georges used a black screen, now green screen, to multiply himself on the screen and other tricks like that.

Ben Kingsley also talks about Asa Butterfield's character and the railway station and the beautiful set. "It's going to be like The Wizard of Oz, which is very funny and very moving. It's gonna be a terribly entertaining film for decades to come."
