Jamie Foxx talks about playing murder consultant Dean Jones in Horrible Bosses

Jamie Foxx: You know, you've got a comedy daemon in there with Jason Bateman who's just amazing. And I was privy to see Jennifer Aniston in this thing that she's doing. She's going for it. Anytime you've got people like that. That just want to go for it, is gonna make the movie fantastic. Because it's like watching an All-Star game, you know. You'll see Colin Farrell. He looks crazy in it. And Kevin Spacey, you know. All these people that you're already familiar with. To see them having fun, that's gonna be amazing.

These three guys come in to this bar. And they see it's predominantly black. And they figure black people commit a lot of crimes and maybe we'll find someone who'll commit a murder for us. And they're so fun and dumb with it that they actually ask “is this the place where we can find someone who can do some murdering for us." I overhear that conversation, knowing that these guys are just gullible and dumbasses and I figure I can get some money out of it or something out of it. So they come into the bar. They do their spiel. I overhear it and attract them, meet them outside the bar, scare them a little bit. And say “listen, I can do what you need for the right price." We negotiate the price. I negotiate bad. But I get a certain price and then end up paying me the money. And then after that they find out that I'm not really a murderer, I'm just, I'm sort of like a murder consultant with killer confidence. So it's really funny.
