‘Star Wars: Rogue One’, ‘Captain America: Civil War’, and More Will Get IMAX Releases
IMAX and Disney have renewed their contract which will see them working together through to 2017. The deal will cover upcoming releases from Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar.
This multi-picture deal will take effect this year and continue through to 2017. Greg Foster, senior executive VP of IMAX Corp. and CEO of IMAX Entertainment, said in a statement, "For IMAX, this deal represents a next step towards creating a diversified slate, which offers moviegoers a broad range of highly innovative and engaging entertainment to be experienced in IMAX theatres."
