Amazon Gains Exclusive Rights to 'Mr. Robot'
Amazon has reached a deal, claiming exclusive streaming rights to the surprise hit Mr. Robot.
The hacker thriller starring Rami Malek took off with its recently ended first season,, and follows Malek's character as a vigilante hacker who is recruited by another hacker to take down a massive conglomerate (and the very one he works a day job for as an info-security engineer).
The show won't be available for Prime Subscribers in the U.S. until spring 2016, no surprise given how recent season 1 ended. It will be October and November before international territories will receive it.
Concluding the summer as the second highest rated cable drama behind Fear the Walking Dead, Mr. Robot looks set to increase its audience as it heads toward a season 2.
