Amazon Secures Streaming Rights to 'Falling Water,' Season 2 Renewal on the Cards
Amazon is in the process of finalising the VOD rights to USA Network's supernatural thriller Falling Water, created by Henry Bromell, Blake Masters, and Gale Anne Hurd. The deal could see the increased likelihood of the show's renewal for a second year.
The show wasn't a big ratings winner, with an average of 450,000 viewers in Live+same day stats. It's described as a dense series that may fit more in line with Syfy's offering. It's considered a better fit for streaming rather than traditional network television.
USA Network has already had a revival for another series via multi-platform deals, with comedy Playing House getting the same injection that kicked up more interest in the series.
