AMC's Horror Series Streaming Service Acquires its First Exclusive Series
AMC Networks' digital streaming service for all things horror, Shudder, has acquired its first exclusive series. Set to premiere exclusively on Shudder later this year, Beyond the Walls is a French supernatural mini-series announced for the streamer on Wednesday.
“We could not be more proud to present ‘Beyond the Walls’ to our members this fall,” said Shudder GM Linda Pan in a statement. “We plan to continue to premiere new high-quality films and series on Shudder – and ‘Beyond the Walls’ is an excellent example of thrilling genre programming made exclusively available to the Shudder community.”
The series is a supernatural thriller about a woman who inherits a house and discovers there's a parallel world hiding within the walls. It stars Veerle Baetens and Geraldine Chaplin.
Shudder started beta testing last summer. It is available on the website and mobile services for $4.99 per month. The library consists of over 400 titles.
