Big News for The Return of 'Pirates of the Caribbean'
During the live action movie panel at Disney's D23 Expo, more details came out on the fifth installment in the popular 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise.
The latest details for the upcoming 2017 film 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' is that an original cast member will be returning to the franchise. Orlando Bloom will be making his return as his character Will Turner. And along with the returning Bloom will be Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow) and Geoffrey Rush (Captain Barbossa).
Plus the Pirates franchise will be introducing some new faces into like Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites, and Kaya Scodelario.
The plot of the fifth film is that Captain Jack Sparrow is low on his luck, and things get even worse when he is targeted by a group of ghost pirates led by his old nemesis Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem). Captain Salazar wants to kill every pirate at sea, including Captain Jack Sparrow. Captain Jack can save himself by doing only one thing, finding the "Trident of Poseidon." If Captain Jack gets control of the artifact, he will be able to have control of the entire sea.
Will this be Captain Jack's last time sailing the seven seas? It seems highly unlikely based on the success of the franchise.
