'Creed' Star Tessa Thompson Joins 'Thor: Ragnarok'
Taika Waititi's Thor sequel has added Creed star Tessa Thompson in a key role, ahead of its June production launch.
Thompson will join Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Jaimie Alexander, as well as Mark Ruffalo as Hulk and Cate Blanchett as an unspecified villain, for the film.
Natalie Portman is not returning following her role in the previous two films, so Thompson could be playing a female lead to replace her. Thompson is set to shoot Alex Garland's Annihilation alongside Portman this Spring. The actress plays a lead role in the long gestating HBO series Westworld.
