'Doctor Who' 2016 Christmas Special to Get a Theatrical Run
BBC Worldwide North America and Fathom Events have joined together to see 2016's Doctor Who Christmas Special, titled The Return of Doctor Mysterio, get a big screen release.
The film will reach cinemas for two nights on Tuesday, 27th of December and Thursday, 29th at 7PM local time on both days. The event will include the full 60-minute episode as well as two bonus features, "A New Kind of Superhero," and "Christmas Doctor Who Extra."
“‘The Return of Doctor Mysterio’ will be an excellent way for fans to celebrate the holidays in true Whovian style,” says Soumya Sriraman, EVP, Franchise and Digital Enterprises, BBC Worldwide North America.
