'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Headed to Shelves in November
While we now know that season 7 won't be premiering until next Summer, HBO has tempered that disappointment with a home video release of November 15, 2016 for the show's sixth season. Digitally, the ten episodes will arrive on August 1.
The release is filled with plenty of extras such as an inside look into the Battle of the Bastards, a look at the history and lore of Westeros, and a feature on the Dothraki World.
The release will only quell fan thirst for so long before the wait for the new season becomes overwhelming. Given how long each season hiatus feels, this one is sure to be monumental for fans of HBO's hit.
