Gillian Anderson, Toni Collette and Joanna Lumley to Star in 'Andorra'

NadiaA71 After casting Clive Owen as the lead in Andorra, the romantic thriller added a few more names to it's list of cast: Gillian Anderson (X-Files, The Fall), Toni Collette (Sixth Sense) and Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous). Riccardo Scamarcio (Burnt) is also set to appear.

The film, which will be helmed by Australian director Fred Schepisi (Roxanne), is based on a novel with the same title by Peter Cameron. Clive Owen will play an American bookseller Alexander Fox, who settles in Andorra to begin a new life after a personal tragedy. He soon becomes entangled with the locals: Mrs. Dent (Collette), Mrs. Quay (Lumley) and her daughter Miss Quay (Anderson). When a body of a dead woman is discovered, the local police (Scamarcio) is convinced that Fox is involved.

Cameron and Jamie Bialkower adapted the script from the novel. Bialkower will also produce for Jump Street Films along with Schiepisi and Lizzette Atkins. Filming is scheduled to start in April 2017 in Italy. No release date have been announced for this film.
