Gotham Heading Toward Winter Hiatus
Already 8 episodes into season 2, Gotham will be split in half this year with a winter hiatus before it returns in 3 months.
11 episodes will air on either side of the hiatus, meaning there are just 3 more episodes to go before Jim Gordon and the rest will be taking a break from their hectic jobs and deservedly putting their feet up for the holidays.
The second half of the season will pick up on February 29 next year, and the show will become a kind of curtain raiser leading into Lucifer, giving Fox a DC driven Monday for each week.
The 'Rise of the Villains' subtitle will carry over into the second half, though be sure to expect a cliffhanger to keep fans dangling at the end of the season's initial run.
