Halle Berry Looking to Join Kingsman Franchise for Two Sequels
Via Deadline, the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service is full steam ahead, and Halle Berry is reportedly in talks to join the next film in a two-picture deal.
This confirms that 20th Century Fox is planning at least a trilogy of Kingsman films. With the groundwork laid out for the series both tonally and critically, it would take a disastrous sequel to kill any plans for the franchise's future.
Berry will play the head of the CIA, which lines up with reports that the sequel will take a stateside setting. Expect her role to be integral, given they're putting a two-film deal on the table. Matthew Vaughn's sequel will open June 16, 2017.
