'Harry Potter' Alum David Thewlis Joins Season 3 of 'Fargo'
Fargo's third season is shaping up to have one of its best so far, which is saying quite a bit. David Thewlis, who played Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter franchise, has joined the series as a mysterious loner.
He joins Ewan McGregor, Carrie Coon, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jim Gaffigan, and more. EW reports that Thewlis is playing a series regular, as a bearer of bad news for Emmit Stussy (McGregor).
McGregor, meanwhile, is playing dual roles as brothers Ray and Emmit. Scoot McNairy (Halt and Catch Fire) has also joined the series, and we may see some ties to previous seasons if Noah Hawley sticks to keeping his seasons vaguely connected.
