HBO Adds 'Game of Thrones' Aftershow to Season Schedule
Akin to popular talkshow Talking Dead and Talking Bad from AMC, HBO has opted to take a similar, if not identical, path with the upcoming season of Game of Thrones.
Episodes of the aftershow, which is hostedby Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan, who both currently work for Bill Simmons' content site The Ringer, will air on HBO Go, HBO Now and HBO On Demand following new episodes.
The show will look to recap and attempt to contextualise events that play into the show's ever-deepening mythology. Simmons will executive produce alongside Bill Simmons Media Group President Eric Weinberger.
