'Hell or High Water': First Look and Release Date Announced
Filmmaker David McKenzie is back with his latest film 'Hell or High Water' starring Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine and Ben Foster. McKenzie, who previously directed Starred Up (2014) and Young Adam (2004), collaborates with Sicario writer, Taylor Sheridan for this heist thriller.
Hell or High Water is a story about two brothers (Pine and Foster) who robbed banks in order to save their farm. The brothers - a divorced dad and an ex-con - are soon pursued by a Texas Ranger portrayed by Jeff Bridges.
The film will premiere in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival later this month. CBS and Lionsgate have announced that Hell or High Water will open on August 12 in limited release and will expand on August 26.
