'Hotel Transylvania 3', 'Goosebumps 2' Moved Around, Sony Updates Schedule
While earlier we reported that Bad Boys for Life has been delayed, while Bad Boys 4 has been scrapped altogether (according to the Sony calendar), there's been more shifting around as the studio attempts to get right their slate in the coming years.
Transylvania 3, directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who helmed the extremely successful first two films), has been brought forward from September 21, 2018 to July 18, 2018. Meanwhile, Goosebumps 2 has been pushed back eight months. Initially, the Jack Black-starrer had a sequel set for January 26, 2018. Now, that one won't arrive until September 21, filling Hotel Transylvania's now empty spot.
Bad Boys 3 was set for January 12, 2018. Now that it won't arrive until November 9, 2018, White Boy Rick starring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Jason Leigh has been slotted into that January hole.
