Idris Elba in Talks to Star in Aaron Sorkin Directorial Debut 'Molly's Game'
Idris Elba is reportedly in talks to lead in Aaron Sorkin's directorial debut, Molly's Game. Jessica Chastain is also in talks for the titular role of Molly Bloom, a world-class skier who, after failing to make the Olympics, takes a year off before law school and accepts a job as a waitress in LA.
Molly eventually puts her entrepreneurial talents toward running high-stakes power games for Hollywood's elite. The true story eventually led to the FBI tracking her down and ending her operation.
The film is based on Bloom's memoir, and Sony will distribute the picture. Sorkin will also script.
