India Eisley and Jason Isaacs to Star in Upcoming Thriller 'Behind the Glass'
Indie thriller Behind the Glass adds India Eisley, Jason Isaacs, and Harrison Gilbertson to star, from Israeli filmmaker Assaf Bernstein, making this his first North American feature.
Eisley plays the shy and reclusive 18 year-old high school girl alienated by her parents and is an outcast among her peers. Her only confidant is her reflection in the mirror, which gives her comfort and, eventually, her demise.
Isaacs, well known for the Harry Potter franchise as Lucius Malfoy, will play her father. Gilbertson plays a young man torn between his lover and her best friend.
“India and Jason are such a perfect match for these complex roles. It is as if they stepped out of the script, or rather a dream I once had,” Bernstein said. “India will adeptly bring the double role of Maria/Airam to life, an amazingly powerful, rare, and dynamic role where she plays both innocent and dark in the same instance.”
