Jared Leto Comments on the One Other Villain More Infamous than The Joker

HaydnSpurrell HaydnSpurrell Jared Leto and director David Ayer have been talking up Suicide Squad's Joker arrival quite a bit, and it's certainly a case of excited-but-cautious for fans who still hold Heath Ledger's portrayal dear to their heart.

Speaking with Total Film, Leto comments on the character, and shows that he's clearly devoted to the role. "The Joker is an icon, a legend, the baddest of the bad and seems to be having the most fun. I knew I was going to have to dive deep and go to a place I had never gone before."

He also inferred that the Joker is the most infamous character of all time, barring one. "The only villain who may be more infamous is the devil." The film is out August 5.
