Jon Bernthal and Tom Holland Teamed Up For Their Marvel Audition Tapes
Jon Bernthal is set to debut as the highly anticipated Punisher in the coming season of Daredevil, while we finally got our first (literal) glimpse of Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the latest Civil War trailer.
Now, Bernthal has revealed that the two collaborated on their audition tapes in the midst of filming period drama Pilgrimage together in Ireland. "We were making tapes from Ireland in the process of getting him cast in Spider-Man and then he and I made a tape for The Punisher.
"...During this independent movie that we did in Ireland we were constantly making tapes for Marvel - just acting together." Bernthal does admit that these tapes probably won't find their way onto the World Wide Web.
"These tapes definitely do exist, you can call Marvel and ask for it, but that's like breaking into Fort Knox."
