Kirsten Dunst's Directorial Debut 'The Bell Jar' Adds Jesse Plemons
Jesse Plemons, who shared the screen with Kirsten Dunst in FX's second season of Fargo, will join on to play a role in Dunst's upcoming debut directing effort with The Bell Jar.
Plemons joins Dakota Fanning, and the film is an adaptation of the literary classic by Sylvia Plath. Priority Pictures' Lizzie Friedman will produce alongside Fanning and Echo Lake Entertainment's Brittany Kahan.
The 50's-set tale follows a young woman who earns an internship at a women's magazine in New York City. She has trouble adapting to the lifestyle and becomes mentally unstable.
Production is expected to start early 2017.
