Lady Gaga Circling Bradley Cooper's 'A Star is Born' Remake

HaydnSpurrell In 1937, William Wellman adapted his own story about the unlikely rise of a talented singer to stardom, and in 1954 George Cukor adapted the story into one of personal artifice. In 1976, it was remade with disastrous results.

Now, its take four with Bradley Cooper taking over and making it his passion project. Deadline is reporting that Lady Gaga is set to star alongside Cooper, who will co-star in addition to his other duties.

While we'll never see the version that was developing some time ago, which saw Clint Eastwood directing and Beyonce leading, Gaga may well just be the next best thing.
