Netflix Lands Rights to 'The Discovery' Starring Jason Segel and Rooney Mara
Netflix has acquired the global rights to The Discovery, the new film from Charlie McDowell (The One I Love), set for release in 2017.
Written by McDowell and Justin Lader, The Discovery is a love story set a year after the existence of the afterlife is scientifically verified. It has Rooney Mara, Jason Segel and Robert Redford signed on to star.
The Discovery earns its place as another film to look out for on the streaming service, alongside Okja and Death Note for Netflix's 2017 slate, which is looking pretty hefty.
